One of the exciting things they saw as they were flying home was when they were over Travis Air Force Base. A C5A was making a touch and go landing, and it happened right underneath them! And from the air, you see things you don't realize exist. From the freeway you probably can't even see the colors of these reservoirs, but from above they are giant opals sparkling in the sun!
