Sunday night they stayed up late playing Cribbage. Woody checked with the FAA to see what weather reports were like. The weather looked like it was turning, and he wanted to take off in plenty of time to have a safe flight home. Instead of leaving at Noon as they had hoped they would, they scrambled to get packed up, and were in the plane ready to go by 11:00. It was just as Woody was ready to take off that Ana asked, "Have you ever taken off from here with 4 passengers?" Woody responded, "No" as he revved the engine and took off! He couldn't make the full loop and circle to reduce the noise for his neighbors, so he had to settle for flying over them at a lower-than-usual altitude. They stopped in Scott Valley and fueled the plane, then headed home. Here they are over the delta.
