The Happy
Graduate

On a very hot day in June, in the
football bowl at her school, Joyce
had her graduation ceremonies,
along with her 300 or so fellow
classmates.

Students, administration and
spectators rise as the flags are
brought in. A beautiful rendition
of the Anthem by some of the
student choir. After they are
recessed, the speeches begin.

the usual antics,
the students were
patted down looking
for beach balls and

other toys. Some got
thru the  "security"
and it was this guy's
job to permanently
deflate them.

[right] Real
security was on
hand as well,
keeping the
peace.

was time for the
grads to toss their
caps in the air and
be declared grads.

missed her Jr.Hi
graduation, but was
able to make it to
this one.
The family had late dinner at a
favorite restaurant, and took
these photos in front of a lovely
beach scene painting in the foyer
there.
