OCTOBER

Big Birthday celebrations going on this month. From the top, we have Joyce's grandma on the 3rd - she turned 75! (Woo hoo!!) Joyce herself turned Sweet 16 on her mom's 45th birthday (but who's counting :D ). And Joyce's great-grandma turned 85 on the 20th.

They missed out on the regular monthly too-doo at their congregation (along with the 11 other birthday celebrants) because they were busy with Sound of Music, but Joyce did get a Sweet 16 party. Click here for the pictures of that momentous occasion.

Last month marked the end of an era at HP, Ana's workplace for 13+ years. Former CEO Lew Platt passed away suddenly, and his memorial service was held in October. The HP Choir was asked to perform a "Tribute" to him. Ana was honored to be a part of it. Read the local paper's article about the service. Ana had the privilege over the years of having numerous opportunities to work with Lew professionally in the partner organization, and for the annual United Way campaign. Here (at right) is the picture she had taken with him back in 1999.

42nd Street performances were at the end of the month. Since there were about 40 female performers and 10 male performers in the two dressing rooms, the men sectioned off and made room for the women to lounge in their room once they were dressed. Ana spent all her down time here, crocheting and playing cribbage with the other performers who were also waiting to go on stage. Check out the pictures from the show.

NOVEMBER

No sooner was 42nd Street wrapped than Ana and Joyce were teching backstage at Sunnyvale's City of Angels. There were more antics backstage being photographed. It was an incredible show, lots of detailed set design, and absolutely fantastic to watch. The gals knew most of the cast already, and made some new friends too (pictures).

And as a season ticket holder, we got special access to our favorite football players (pictures).

DECEMBER

Ana's choir at work made it into the local paper, with Ana getting a mention too.

And the company's famous landmark was finally restored, and a few lucky employees got to go on a tour. See the pictures.

We finally got to go to Disneyland for the holidays. See the pictures.

We made it back home for New Years Eve, and celebrated with our congregation on New Years Day with the Annual Talent Show and a potluck dinner.

We hope all who read this have had a blessed year, and are looking forward to 2006.
