Monterey Bay
Fourth of July, 2004

Then there was the window shopping! (click the pictures for larger images)

For a toddler, this outfit teaches a fine appreciation for surfing and the ultimate surfer vehicle, the woody. At the same eclectic shop was this marvelous model of a fine sailing ship. Clos La Chance wine-tasting was right next door, but we never managed to get there when they were open or idle.
This "Camel by the C" (for sea which is the blue next to the sand) is a very cunning work of art created by a local artisan. The map of the bay at the local bike and pedal-car shop. Had to stroll by the carousel, even if we weren't going for a ride.
"Have you ever seen a purple cow?" is how the poem goes. Now you can say you have, at a charming western store. This beautiful antique gown was also in the western store. This zebra / butler -- on roller skates no less -- seems to be asking "are you being served?"
